JOB TITLE: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) REPORTS TO: Manager/Director of Medical/Surgical Inpatient Services POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direction of a licensed nurse, assists patients in meeting self-care and daily needs. Performs all other duties as assigned. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High school graduate or equivalent preferred. Graduate of a Nursing Assistance Program preferred and a minimum of one year of nursing assistant experience in a medical/surgical setting is preferred. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Possession of a current California Nurses Assistant Certification and a current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

The Certified Nursing Assistant assists patients with self-care and daily needs under the direction of a licensed nurse in a medical/surgical inpatient services unit. The role also requires performing all other assigned duties as directed.
