Your Role as a CNA: As a member of our care team, you will: Assist residents with daily living tasks including dressing, grooming, bathing, and toileting Help residents with mobility, transferring, and repositioning Serve meals and assist with eating when needed Record vital signs and monitor food/fluid intake/output Document care and support activities in accordance with facility guidelines Participate in care plan meetings and provide meaningful input Promote a resident-centered environment focused on dignity, respect, and quality of life What You Bring: Current CNA certification (state-approved) Compassionate nature and a patient, positive attitude Good communication skills with residents, families, and team members Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively Commitment to resident privacy and confidentiality Dependability and punctuality for scheduled shifts Why Work With Us? Licenses/Certification Valid certification as a CNA in the state of employment. Valid CPR certificate preferred. Experience Six months experience in a long term-care environment preferred. NOTE: A CNA who successfully completes an approved advanced skills training curriculum and/or has demonstrated experience in a needed clinical specialty area, e.g. ventilator, pulmonary, and tracheostomy (VPT), can be classified as a CNA II.
