Furthermore, this position will be primarily based in the nursing home, however, you will be expected to cross train and float to the Hospital  when the need arises. The shift is 6 am to 6:30 pm, with rotating weekends and holidays. The starting wage for this position is $18 per hour with a $3 shift differential for nights and a $4 shift differential for weekends.    Responsibilities: • The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) aids the professional nursing staff. • Delivers direct care to residents as directed by the RN or LPN. Always maintains resident comfort and safety. • Follows all departmental policies and procedures as well as safety, environmental, and infection control standards. • Represents the facility with integrity and treats every resident with dignity and respect. • Follows nurse instructions to perform procedures. • Complies with HIPAA Privacy Act by protecting confidential patient information. • Follows all policies and procedures to maintain a safe nursing home setting. • Participates in all training and continuing education. Requirements: • High school diploma or the equivalent is required. • Illinois CNA certificate is required. • CPR card is required. • Stellar customer service skills are required. • Ability to analyze and solve problems is required. • Ability to work independently with little general supervision is required. • Ability to perform the essential functions and requirements of the job. • Cross train and work in the nursing home and Assisted Living facility
