This position is primarily based in the nursing home but requires cross‑training and the ability to float to the hospital when needed. The shift runs from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM.   Key Responsibilities * Assist professional nursing staff in delivering high‑quality resident care. * Provide direct care as directed by an RN or LPN while maintaining resident comfort and safety. * Follow all departmental policies, safety procedures, environmental standards, and infection control guidelines. * Uphold resident dignity, respect, and privacy at all times. * Perform procedures and tasks as instructed by nursing staff. * Protect confidential patient information in compliance with HIPAA. * Maintain a safe and clean environment within the nursing home. * Participate in required training and continuing education. Requirements * High school diploma or equivalent. * Active Illinois CNA certification. * Current CPR certification. * Strong customer service and communication skills. * Ability to analyze and solve problems effectively. * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. * Ability to perform all essential job functions
