Description SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: The primary responsibility of this position is to assist residents in the activities of daily living. This includes, but is not limited to, toileting, bathing, dressing, and assessing residents’ need for additional medical attention. RCAs will also provide residents with reminders and cueing to take medications, under the careful supervision of the Health & Wellness Director. We have the following open positions: 1ST SHIFT: 7:00 AM TO 3:30 PM, PART-TIME 16 HOURS EVERY FRIDAY & EVERY OTHER SATURDAY/SUNDAY 7:00 AM TO 3:30 PM, PART-TIME 16 HOURS EVERY OTHER SATURDAY/SUNDAY 2ND SHIFT: 3:00 PM TO 11:30 PM, PART-TIME 8 HOURS EVERY SUNDAY 3:00 PM TO 11:30 PM, PART-TIME 16 HOURS EVERY SUNDAY 3RD SHIFT: 11:00 PM TO 7:30 AM, FULL-TIME 40 HOURS 11:00 PM TO 7:30 AM, PART-TIME 16 HOURS Requirements REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Must have an active Massachusetts CNA license or HHA certificate. Knowledge of and/or 1 yr. of experience working with people with Alzheimer’s Disease and/or related disorders. Sensitivity to issues of aging. Ability to be flexible with scheduling and work assignments, as well as the ability to work as a team.
