Description Schedule Details 1st shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM 24 hours per week Every other weekend rotation required We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Memory Care Village, Freedom Bay. This position plays a vital role in providing hands-on, person-centered care to Veterans living with dementia and other cognitive impairments. Key Responsibilities Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding Provide supportive, respectful care tailored to the unique needs of memory care residents Observe and report changes in residents’ physical condition, behavior, or mood Promote a safe, structured, and calm environment Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning in accordance with care plans Support residents’ dignity, independence, and quality of life Work collaboratively with nurses and interdisciplinary team members Why Join Us Meaningful work caring for those who have served our country Consistent day shift schedule Supportive, mission-driven team environment Opportunity to gain specialized experience in memory care Requirements Must be active and in good standing on the Maine CNA registry Ability and willingness to work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers, staff, supervisors, residents and their families Must be able to work effectively both independently and in a team environment Ability to effectively understand and communicate verbally and in writing, in English, is required.
