Get to Know Your Team: Portneuf Medical Center is a nationally recognized healthcare leader with 205 beds, serving as the region's tertiary care and Level II Trauma Center, housing the Portneuf Heart and Vascular Institute, Portneuf Cancer Center, Portneuf Medical Group, and Portneuf Air Rescue. Responsibilities Provides direct patient care based on individual need according to hospital policies, procedures and protocols, under the supervision of a Licensed Nurse and within the scope of the practice of the Certified Nursing Assistant Completes all documentation within departmental requirements and timelines. Responsible for directly observing and assisting patients who are at risk to cause injury to themselves or others. Assumes responsibility for own clinical competence and development. Participates in the responsible management of all healthcare resources. Participates as a contributory member of the interdisciplinary team Provides direct personal patient care under the supervision of the registered nurse within the scope of practice of the Certified Nursing Assistant. Qualifications Job Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent. Current Certified Nursing Assistant certification in the State of Idaho Current BLS certification - must obtain within 14 days of hire. Preferred Job Requirements: Experience as a nursing assistant
