Provides direct and indirect patient care duties under the guidance and direction of the Licensed Nurse. Communicates with and keeps manager informed of unit activities, needs and problems related to patient care. Maintains established departmental, unit and hospital guidelines, policies and procedures. Follows established routines and utilize supplies and equipment in a cost-effective manner. Implements and maintains factors related to safety and effectiveness of patient outcomes. Administers necessary actions to comply with daily patient hygiene standards. DOCUMENTATION: Documents and submits required information and data in a timely fashion.
