CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT (CNA) - SHOWER TEAM JOB TITLE: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Shower Team DEPARTMENT: Comfort Care Nursing Center FULL TIME/PRN: Full Time JOB SUMMARY Assists patients with ADLs; supports mobility, comfort, and safety; monitors and reports changes; provides compassionate, team‑based care. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Valid CNA certification (state); HS diploma/equivalent preferred; basic medical terminology. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • Long‑term care/rehab experience; CPR/First Aid; dementia/palliative training. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Assist with hygiene, grooming, bathing, feeding. • Monitor/record vitals; assist transfers and mobility. • Maintain clean/safe environment; adhere to infection control. • Provide emotional support and companionship. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS • Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods. • Frequent bending, reaching, squatting, and kneeling. • Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs independently; >50 lbs with assistance/devices. • Assist with patient repositioning and transfers using proper body mechanics and equipment. • Manual dexterity for clinical procedures and computer use; adequate vision, hearing, and speech.
