Learn more about our facility at www.generationsapplewood.com. Our facility uses On-Shift for block scheduling and communicating with staff. This helps push out available shifts to staff to pick up as we DO NOT use agency. *Top rate of $29 ph is a 'No Benefit' rate. Actual rate will depend on which benefit package is chosen and level of experience with scheduling. Responsibilities of the CNA Unit Manager: Oversee units and CNAS Do the Master Schedule all nursing staff but only staff replacements for CNA call-offs Act as an educator and resource for CNA staff Train and Mentor CNAs during orientation and as needed on job duties and expectations Attend daily staff meetings to ensure transfer of information is complete and accurate Review CNA documentation to ensure that it is complete Conduct regular rounds to supervise CNAs and ensure residents are being turned and repositioned in accordance with policy and procedure Foster relationships with CNAs and nursing staff to promote an optimal working environment and contribute to staff retention Requirements of the CNA Unit Manager Must be CNA, registered in Illinois CNA and Scheduling experience OnShift experience a definite plus! Experience in a supervisory role highly desirable Experience in a long term care facility Proven leadership capabilities, build relationships and trust Treat employees with respect and with a collaborative demeanor Must have compassion, tolerance and understanding of older adults Equal Opportunity Employer IND1
