This is an Hourly position. Ideal candidate will have availability to work during the week in addition to their weekend to work. Overview POSITION SUMMARY: The Patient Care Technician/Certified Nursing Assistant (PCT/CNA) provides appropriate safe basic care to patients which includes taking vital signs, assisting patients with activities of daily living, specimen collection, and observation of patients for physical/emotional changes. Other duties include recording pertinent information in patient charts, communicating with other Patient Care Team members to ensure continuity of care, and may function in a role providing constant supervision to patients as needed. Duties may vary according to department expectations and needs. Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: CNA-Certified Nurses Assistant CPR American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or GED Experience 6 months experience in a clinical healthcare environment 6 months experience in supporting physical, emotional and psycho-social needs of patients OSF HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
