As a CNA, you will perform fundamental nursing tasks and procedures under the direction of the LPN and/or RN staff here at Westminster Village. Primarily focusing on performing personal care and restorative procedures as well as total performance of personal care/activities of daily living for a resident to assisting residents to gain more independence. Westminster Village is seeking CNAs in the following positions: 2nd shift (3p-11:30p): 2 full-time 3rd shift (11p-7:30a): 1 full-time and 1 part-time CNAs are a union-eligible position, including every other weekend and some holidays. We offer a competitive wage with an annual increase. The wage scale for this position is $22.51 to $24.51 an hour. Job Duties: Accurately records information and reports to nurse any variance in residents' condition Performs personal bedside care of the resident Assists with the care and environment of residents' room Assists with mealtime and feeding Monitoring vitals and patient behavior and reporting them to the nursing team Assisting patients with mobility needs, transferring them from wheelchair to bed Assists with protective/safety measures Promotes restorative/rehabilitation in all patients Promotes quality of life Requirements CNA Certified in the State of Illinois. Working knowledge of patient care delivery in the Geriatric/Skilled Nursing Setting. Ability to comply with HIPPA guidelines and regulations. Ability to demonstrate patience, understanding, and tact in interactions with residents, families and staff. Ability to demonstrate calm professional manner in the event of emergency.
