Description
Looking for Meaningful Work That Fits Your Life? Currently we are trying to fill LONGER SHIFTS -- 10-12 HOURS. Most are day shifts, some may continue through evening.. Why Join Us? Close To Home Caregivers is an agency run by caregivers. We try to find clients that match your preferences, believing that happy caregivers mean happy clients. Who Are Our Clients? Elderly people in the Sarasota-Bradenton area. Some living at home, some in facilities. Some need help with mobility, personal care, and day-to-day routines. Others are relatively independent but simply need a kind presence — someone to help with small tasks and share conversation. Some face challenges like dementia or Parkinson’s and need both understanding and physical assistance. What You’ll Do: In all cases, provide safety, comfort, and companionship. In some cases, help them transfer from bed to walker/wheel chair, bathing, dressing, toileting (if comfortable for you). Sometimes provide the light housekeeping, and meal prep they are unable to do themselves. And always, reporting any physical or cognitive changes you observe to our care team. What We’re Looking For: Caregivers in the broad Sarasota-Bradenton area who are patient, compassionate, and reliable, with a strong work ethic. A valid Florida driver’s license and a reliable vehicle (with current insurance and registration). A Level II background check (we’ll help if you don’t have this yet). No felony convictions. Pay: Starting at $18.00-19.00/hour, with consideration for more after working with us for a period of time. Sound Like a Fit? Come join a team that truly values what you do. At Close To Home Caregivers, we’ve done the job ourselves; we know both the challenges and the deep rewards of caregiving. Let’s make a difference — together.
