Role Summary: CNC & Manual Machinist is responsible for setting up and operating a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments. The role includes fabricating, modifying, and repairing mechanical instruments, as well as manufacturing or adjusting components used in machine tools and industrial equipment. Success in this position requires strong knowledge of mechanics, mathematics, metal properties, layout principles, and machining procedures. Responsibilities: Operate CNC and Manual machines and related equipment in accordance with established procedures. Perform routine operational tasks to support daily production activities. Assist with equipment maintenance and repair by preparing tools, parts, and work areas as required. Follow mandatory health, safety, and environmental instructions to ensure personal safety and the safety of others. Adhere to operational and quality compliance requirements to meet internal standards and external regulatory expectations. Use and interpret precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, dial indicators, and depth gauges. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and geometric tolerances. Communicate courteously and effectively with colleagues to support workflow and information exchange. Work with guidance to understand and apply relevant policies and procedures in alignment with organizational objectives. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements: Trade Certificate in the relevant area with few years of relevant experience. Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices and the application of basic health and safety principles. Practical machining experience in a manufacturing or repair environment, including operation of manual lathes, milling machines, or CNC lathes/mills. Preferred Experience / Skills: Clear and effective verbal communication skills. Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work activities with guidance to meet business objectives.
