Description

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

· Associates degree in Machine Tool Technology or related skilled trade, or equivalent work experience.
· 5+ years in a manufacturing environment (Tool & Die, job shop, or high-volume production).
· Strong experience in G&M code programming for multi-task turning centers and 5-axis CNC machining.
· 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Siemens CNC controls.
· Proficiency with CAM software (Mastercam, Siemens NX, VERICUT) and CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
· Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
· Experience with project management tools and lean manufacturing concepts.
· Preferred: Experience with Doosan / DN Solutions equipment (SMX, DVF series)

Responsibilities

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Conduct pre-sale activities and reviews including customer visits, evaluation of opportunities, machine assessment and recommendations, part processing recommendations and development of turnkey proposals.
· Turnkeys: develop a manufacturing process by generating machine cutting program(s), implementing tooling, and fixturing based on a customer’s proposal while maintaining a mandated schedule, cycle time and quality level.
· Provide technical customer support to our distributors and key account customers in programming, processes, and training.
· Design and implement cutting demos with a focus on new technologies and products.
· Develop and present contents of scheduled programming classes to both internal and external customers.
· Support the full sales life cycle by performing customer visits, product demonstrations, time studies, etc.
· Communicate with internal sales force and customers regarding project process updates.
· Support training and/or coaching of internal and external customers in relation to advanced manufacturing concepts and full product line.
· Execute other technical tasks related to special events and/or sales support on an as needed basis.
· Perform other related duties as assigned, such as Open Houses and Trade shows.
