We are seeking a motivated CNC Apprentice to join our team. This is a hands-on training role designed for individuals looking to build a career in CNC machining. You will learn how to operate, set up, and eventually program CNC machines under the guidance of experienced machinists. No prior CNC experience is required—but mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn are essential. What You’ll Learn CNC machine operation Blueprint reading and basic GD&T Precision measurement using calipers, micrometers, and gauges Tooling setup and offsets Basic G-code and CNC programming fundamentals Shop safety and quality control processes Requirements Assist machinists with setup and operation of CNC machines Load/unload parts and monitor machine cycles Perform basic inspections of finished parts Maintain a clean and safe work environment Follow all safety and quality standards Participate in structured training and skill development Qualifications Required: High school diploma or GED Strong attention to detail Basic math skills (fractions, decimals) Mechanical aptitude or interest in manufacturing Reliable attendance and work ethic Preferred (not required): Trade school coursework or certifications Experience with tools, machining, or manufacturing Ability to read basic blueprints What We Offer Paid on-the-job training Career advancement into CNC Operator ?
