QUALIFICATION

  • 1-5 Years’ experience operating a CNC Brake Press
  • Experience with Amada Brake Press operations
  • Work effectively as a team and individually
  • Strong understanding of Aluminum, Cold Roll Steel, Galvanized Steel etc.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, Overtime may be required/Weekends may be required
  • Understanding of Imperial/Metric Dimensions and the ability to ensure high accuracy
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
    Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Program and set up machines to meet job requirements
  • Ensure that brake presses are properly set up and make any on the fly alterations to programs to ensure the completed product is correct
  • Ensure Brake Press and Program are set properly prior to shift change in order to ensure proper work flow carry over
  • Demonstrate math skills to ensure items are designed and built up to standard
  • Ability to identify and change brake press tools
  • Insert material into machines manually
  • Interpret and understand fabrication drawings
  • Basic knowledge of using Digital Height Gauges, and Digital Vernier’s
  • Must be able to read and understand both Imperial and Metric drawings
  • Understanding of Amada brake machines/ability and operation
