CNC BRAKE PRESS SET-UP OPERATOR

We are a leading exhaust fan manufacturer currently looking for an full time CNC Brake Press Set-Up Operator to work in our sheet metal fabrication plant facility located in Brampton ( Dixie Rd and Steeles Avenue area ). Must be experienced.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Ability to read blue prints.
• Performs daily machine check and startup of machine or equipment.
• Reviews Work Order instructions with Production Supervisor and/or Plant Manager for production requirements.
• Retrieves or receives raw materials for daily production from stock.
• Set-up proper tooling in machine as required.
• Programs computer attachment for required machine production.
• Directs finished Work-in-Progress to Assembly or Shipping area.
• Reports to Plant Manager or Production Supervisor re: daily work routine, problems, further direction and necessary requirements.

REQUIREMENTS:

• CNC related Diploma or strong mechanical Engineering background. (Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferable)
• 2-3 years of experience in operation & set up with various CNC Brake Presses.
• Experience with Amada or Trumpf would be an asset.
• Must have Forklift License (Counterbalance/Raymond Reach)
