SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • CNC Milling Expertise: Experienced in programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines using Heidenhain, Fanuc, and WinMax controls.
  • Multi-Axis Machining: Skilled in setting, proving out programs, and running 3, 4, and 5-axis machines to produce high-precision components.
  • Fixturing Design & Manufacture: Experience in designing and manufacturing custom fixturing solutions to optimize machining efficiency and precision.
  • Quality Assurance: Ability to self-inspect manufactured parts and interpret CMM inspection reports to ensure accuracy.
  • Process Improvement & Lean Manufacturing: Familiarity with Lean principles, 5S, and Kaizen, with a mindset for identifying efficiency improvements and reducing waste.
  • Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting: Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills to quickly resolve machining, tooling, or programming issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Proactive Approach: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing effectively within a team.
  • Adaptability to New Technology: Willingness to embrace new manufacturing technologies, software, and automation to enhance productivity and precision.

DESIRABLE SKILLS

  • Good PC skills for data entry and CNC programming.
  • Offline Programming Experience, particularly with OneCNC and Edgecam.
