About Us
Silvey Engineering Ltd is a long-established, family-run precision engineering company with over 50 years of history. We are expanding our capacity with major investment in two brand-new Hurco 5-axis machining centres and a new Doosan Lynx mill-turn. To support this growth, we are seeking skilled CNC Milling and CNC Turning Engineers to join our team.

Open RolesCNC Milling Engineer

• Program, set, and operate 3- & 5-axis CNC milling machines
• Create CAM programs using Fusion 360 (or similar software)
• Produce precision components in a variety of metals and engineering plastics
• Work directly on brand-new Hurco 5-axis machines

CNC Turning Engineer

• Program, set, and operate CNC lathes, including mill-turn capability
• Experience with Doosan Lynx (Fanuc controls) and/or XYZ ProTURN machines highly desirable
• Manufacture high-precision parts to tight tolerances
• Support continuous improvement and tooling strategies

Candidate Requirements

• Proven CNC machining experience in milling or turning (or both)
• Strong programming and setting skills
• Proficiency in Fusion 360 or similar CAM software
• Ability to work to tight tolerances with excellent attention to detail
• Team player with a proactive approach and pride in quality work

Pay: £32,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
