To compliment our Refractory Anchoring Systems, we now include our custom fabricating division, our custom refractory services, and our full service machining division.
Jayne Industries Inc is currently seeking a full time-day shift:
CNC Fiber Laser Programmer/Operator to join our team
Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC Fiber laser machine to cut, shape, and form metal materials according to specifications
- Set up and adjust machine settings to ensure proper cutting parameters
- Monitor machine operation, and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and efficiency
- Record all dimensions as machined on drawings
- Report any non-conformance dimensions on drawings or machine to manager
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Support monthly inventory counts
- Assist with other tasks, projects and departments as required
Qualifications:
- Mechanical knowledge and understanding of machine operation
- AutoCAD LT experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience with power tools, milling machines, and other machining equipment
- Proficient in basic math calculations and measurements using calipers and other measuring tools
- Knowledge of welding techniques is a plus
- Familiarity with CNC programming is preferred
- Trumpf Fiber Laser experience an asset
- Forklift and overhead crane experience (2years)
