OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Laser Operator to join our growing family business. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in fabrication and mechanical knowledge, with experience in operating laser cutting machines. This role is unique in a newly built but growing workshop in a friendly hard working team producing high quality stainless steel equipment for the dairy industry.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience with operating CNC laser regularly is essential.
  • Experience in fabrication, welding, or related fields is desirable.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Familiarity with sheet metal work and associated processes.
  • Competence in using hand tools and tooling for various tasks.
  • Basic mathematical skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities
  • Operate fibre laser cutting machine to produce high-quality components all from stainless steel.
  • Reload fibre laser with stainless sheets using vacuum suction lifting Jib.
  • occasionally be required to perform fabrication tasks including grinding, welding, and assembly as required.
  • Folding parts at times also required alongside occasional general warehouse work.
  • Conduct regular maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Apply basic math skills for measurements and calculations during the manufacturing process.
