About the Role We’re seeking a skilled and proactive laser machine operator with strong problem-solving abilities, keen attention to detail, and a passion for precision machinery. Working hours: Monday to Friday, 6am – 2pm. What you’ll do: Program, set up, and operate CNC laser machines Monitor equipment performance and resolve operational issues Ensure production quality and accuracy meet established standards Complete documentation to an intermediate level of detail and accuracy Work independently, managing your workload and meeting deadlines effectively Keep machines clean and report any faults Follow all Health & Safety rules and work safely Minimum 2 years’ experience operating CNC laser or plasma machines, ideally in a manufacturing environment (steel preferred) Forklift experience (preferred) Full Class 1 driver’s licence with reliable transport Proven ability to work independently and manage workload effectively Basic to intermediate computer literacy Overhead crane experience is a bonus Good mechanical skills and attention to detail Able to read measurements and drawings Fit and strong – some heavy lifting involved Reliable and turn up every day, on time We offer a secure future and solid career Great professional development opportunities in a company that genuinely cares about the growth and development of its people We believe that flexible, relaxed, enjoyable workplaces make for happy people Our health and wellness programme is available to all our employees, including on-site gyms in various locations Ready to Join Us? Responsibilities
