AMI is looking for a Laser / Plasma Table Operator
Laser/Plasma Table Operator is responsible for keeping the laser/plasma table running efficiently and effectively. Maintaining AMI Attachments production quality standards.
Knowledge and skills Requirements

EDUCATION / KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS

• High school or equivalent work experience; technical training in laser or plasma cutting table operations preferred.
• Proven experience operating laser and/or plasma tables.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents and blueprints.
• Familiarity with measurement instruments.
• Previous forklift and crane experience is an asset.
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and manual dexterity.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to company standards.

Experience:

• Laser / Plasma Table operating: 1 year (required

• Set up and operate laser and plasma tables, ensure efficient operation of cutting tables.
• Load and unload parts to and from the machine, using crane and forklift as needed.
• Perform quality inspections of finished products using precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.), comparing against technical drawings, and ensuring parts are within tolerances.
• Monitor the cutting process, adjusting settings and programming as needed.
• Label parts as per job sheets after they are cut and organize parts in proper storage bins
• Monitor laser and plasma equipment, ensuring they are in optimal working condition and reporting any malfunctions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols and regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production workflows and improve overall efficiency.
  Day shift 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday to Friday
