Manafab are pleased to be working with a manufacturing client in Ashfield, who operate in an incredibly niche market. We’re excited to introduce a new role within their business. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced CNC Laser / Press Brake Operator to join their growing team.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience operating CNC laser and press brake machinery
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings and specifications
  • Comfortable working with sheet metal in a hands-on capacity
  • Knowledge of machine programming and setup
  • A proactive, positive attitude and keen attention to detail

Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

You will be responsible for operating CNC laser cutting and press brake machinery, working with sheet metal, and ensuring high-quality production. This is a hands-on role that requires both technical skill and practical ability.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operate CNC laser and press brake machines efficiently and safely
  • Work with sheet metal, including lifting and handling as required
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Understand and adjust machine programming where necessary
  • Maintain a high standard of quality and accuracy in all work
  • Work collaboratively within a small, friendly team
