EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS, AND SKILLS

  • High School/GED or equivalent education.
  • 3+ years of machine shop experience or a combination of work experience and vocational training is required.
  • Prior experience with Mazak/Fanuc/DMG machines is a plus.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English is required.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to produce precision work.
  • Position available to Canadian Citizens or Canadian Permanent Residents ONLY.

Responsibilities
  • Perform simple set-ups and operate CNC lathe machines under supervision.
  • Perform and record first article inspections of parts.
  • Create and edit machine programs (familiarity with Mazak/Fanuc a plus).
  • Maintain control of manufacturing documentation (example: Planning, drawings, sketches, specifications, set-up sheets, etc.).
