We are currently seeking a CNC Lathe Machinist for our Shields Manufacturing facility in Tualatin Oregon. Team members will carry out a variety of tasks in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment. CNC Lathe Machinist (Levels 1-3) - CNC Lathe Machinist * Ability to read and understand drawings * Starts and observes machine operation * Calculates and set controls to regulate machining factors * Process offset changes unassisted * Check parts using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring devices. * Verify conformance of completed work * Working on lathes such as Mori Seiki (NLX2500, NLX3000, NLX4000, NZX2000), Hitachi Seiki, Nakamura Tome, Haas TL-2, Manual Lathe. Responsibilities also involve processing offset changes independently and verifying the conformance of completed work using precision measuring tools.
