Exciting Opportunity: CNC Lathe Operator Are you a detail-oriented professional with a strong technical background in CNC machining? Ali & Sons Group is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Operator to join our precision manufacturing team. In this essential role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC lathe machines to produce high-quality components to exact specifications. Key Responsibilities: Set up and prepare CNC lathe machines based on technical drawings, job orders, and specifications. Install and calibrate tooling, fixtures, and machine offsets to ensure optimal performance. Load, verify, and modify CNC programs as required to meet production specifications. Operate CNC lathes to manufacture components to strict dimensional and surface finish requirements. Conduct in-process and final inspections using precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers, gauges). Identify and resolve quality issues quickly to minimize downtime and product scrap. Perform routine machine maintenance including cleaning, lubrication, and minor mechanical adjustments. Report mechanical issues or malfunctions immediately to maintenance or supervisors. Maintain accurate production logs, inspection reports, and material usage records. Document any deviations or non-conformances in accordance with company procedures. Adhere to all company safety protocols, PPE requirements, and operational policies. Keep the work area clean, safe, and well-organized at all times. Collaborate closely with supervisors, engineers, and quality control teams to resolve machining and process-related challenges. Communicate job status, potential delays, or quality concerns in a timely and professional manner. Position Scope: Ensure consistent quality and productivity through skilled operation of CNC lathes. Support the production team in achieving output goals while maintaining safety and quality standards. Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying and addressing process inefficiencies. Requirements: Education: Diploma or equivalent technical qualification. Experience: Minimum 5 years of CNC machining experience in the UAE. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of API requirements and machining best practices. Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints. Skilled in using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, etc.). Languages: Fluency in English is essential; Arabic is preferred.
