CNC Lathe Operator – DMG MORI NLX & NTX Machines
Location: Brendale 4500, QLD
Precision Machining Salary: $40-$50 per hour

We supply high-quality components to industries including mining, hydraulics, medical, aviation and manufacturing. Known for our accuracy and fast turnaround, we operate a modern workshop equipped with advanced CNC technology — including DMG MORI, HAAS and other machines. As our business grows, we’re looking for a skilled CNC Lathe Operator to join our team.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

This role will see you programming, setting up, and operating our DMG MORI CNC lathes to produce precision components from steel, aluminium, and other advanced materials. You’ll be part of a small, hands-on team that takes pride in doing things right the first time — with quality, consistency, and reliability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate and set up DMG MORI NLX/NTX CNC lathes
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
• Monitor machine performance and ensure accurate dimensions and surface finishes
• Perform tool changes, offsets, and basic G-code edits when needed
• Conduct quality checks using precision measuring instruments (verniers, micrometres, Surface roughness measuring,)
• Assist with machine maintenance and troubleshoot basic issues
• Collaborate with our production team to meet job deadlines
