Innovate with Confidence: Perform dry-runs on new programs, ensuring everything runs smoothly before production. Ensure Quality: Inspect parts meticulously to meet customer prints and specifications. Work Efficiently: Use an overhead hoist or jib crane to safely and efficiently load and unload steel from the machine. Requirements Essential Functions for Our CNC Lathe Operator Role: Read and Interpret Customer Prints and Specifications: Utilize your expertise to accurately understand and work from detailed customer drawings and specs. Setup and Operate CNC Lathes with Live Tooling: Showcase your skills by efficiently setting up and operating CNC lathes. Work with Large Dimensions: Handle parts up to 24" in diameter and 125" in length. Make Offsets and Perform Light Program Editing: Fine-tune operations by making necessary offsets and performing minor program edits. Follow Company Work Orders and Instructions: Adhere to provided work orders and instructions to ensure high-quality results. Measure Parts with Basic Equipment: Ensure precision by measuring parts with tools like micrometers, dial calipers, thread gages, and verniers.
