Known for their expertise in high-precision machining, this company produces critical components such as helicopter masts, turbine shafts, engine thrust links, and nuclear pressure vessel parts. Their 120,000 square foot facility is home to a team focused on delivering industry-leading quality and precision.
We are currently hiring experienced CNC Lathe Machinists to join the afternoon shift. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled trades professionals with backgrounds in aerospace, nuclear, or automotive manufacturing who take pride in working with tight tolerances and advanced materials.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 3 (continuous) years of CNC machining experience, preferably in aerospace manufacturing
  • Proven ability to work to tight tolerances
  • Hands-on experience with high-performance metals including Inconel, Titanium, Aluminum, and Stainless Steel
  • Proficient in using precision measuring tools
  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions and technical drawings
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada
  • Must meet background check and Controlled Goods Program requirements

EXPERIENCE:

  • Mill turn Machine: 2 years (required)
  • Aerospace Industry: 2 years (required)

Responsibilities
  • Operate CNC lathe machines to produce precision parts according to engineering specifications.
  • Set up and adjust CNC machines for optimal performance, ensuring proper tooling and fixtures are in place.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical documents to understand project requirements.
  • Perform CNC programming using Fanuc controls and other programmable logic controllers as needed.
  • Conduct quality control checks using calipers and other measuring tools to ensure parts meet required tolerances.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
  • Collaborate with team members on assembly processes and packaging of finished products.
  • Troubleshoot machine issues and perform basic maintenance as necessary.
