Job DetailsJob Location: WICHITA, KS 67217Salary Range: $21.00 - $23.00 HourlyJob Title: CNC Lathe Operator Wage: $21.00 - $23.00 Shift: 1st shift 7:00AM - 3:30PM SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the department manager, 2 and 3 axis lathes with live tooling and other equipment to produce quality products on time. Promotes and utilizes standard safety practices ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Will run 2 axis and multi axis lathes Will blend and deburr own parts as needed Does own setups, may assist others with set-ups Checks first part to ensure quality before getting a QA first part buy Maintains clear and concise communication with all supervision verbally and handwritten tie in notes at the machines Maintain daily part run averages located inside each set-up book Maintain a clean work station including cleaning the inside and outside of machines at end of shift SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS: Minimum of 2 year experience in 2 and 3 axis lathes KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: The knowledge, skills and abilities described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
