CNC Lathe Operator Pay Rate: Up to $25/hour (based on experience) Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM About the Company This company specializes in manufacturing custom thermoset resin castings using epoxy, urethane, and silicone materials. Their products are designed for high-performance applications across industries such as semiconductor, RF/microwave, and medical devices. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Operator to join a precision manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate CNC lathe machines to transform resin castings into high-quality finished products. This position is ideal for someone with strong machining skills, attention to detail, and experience working in a fast-paced job shop environment. Key Responsibilities Operate one or more CNC lathe machines to produce parts to specification Load materials, set up tools, and start/stop machines as needed Read and interpret job travelers, blueprints, and manufacturing drawings Inspect parts using measuring tools such as micrometers, comparators, and gauges Ensure parts meet quality standards and specifications Perform routine machine maintenance (cleaning, lubricating, minor adjustments) Remove and manage scrap materials and maintain proper identification of parts Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace Follow all Quality Management System (QMS) procedures Support team needs and perform additional duties as required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of CNC lathe experience in a job shop environment Ability to operate multi-axis CNC machines Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) Experience using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, indicators, verniers, CMM, etc.) Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
Responsibilities
