JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. Some knowledge and experience with CNC programming, particularly with Mazatrol (Mazak) Can be an asset. This role involves operating CNC lathes according to drawings, and ensuring precision in machining processes. The successful applicant will contribute to our commitment to quality and efficiency in production.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience as a CNC Lathe Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate a CNC lathe
• Proficiency in CNC programming, particularly with Mazatrol T-32 systems
• Familiarity with SolidWorks, CAD software, and blueprint reading techniques
• Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations
• Experience using calipers, hand tools, power tools preferred
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus
• Welding experience is an advantage but not required

• AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (required)

• CNC lathe: 2 years (required)

• Operate CNC lathe to produce quality parts according to specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical documents
• Program CNC machines using Mazatrol T-32 controls for optimal performance
• Conduct routine maintenance on machinery to ensure operational efficiency
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and calipers for precise measurements and adjustments
• Collaborate with team members in assembly tasks and lean manufacturing initiatives
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards
• Assist in troubleshooting machining issues as they arise
• Assist in product assembly as required
