JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in CNC programming, with experience in operating various lathe machines. This role requires proficiency in CAD software and the ability to read blueprints to ensure precise machining processes. The CNC Programmer will play a crucial role in optimizing production efficiency and maintaining high-quality standards.

SKILLS

  • Proficient in CNC programming languages.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience operating lathes machines.
  • Familiarity with CAD software for designing machining programs. (Mastercam & Esprit)
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities
  • Follow and comply with all AS9100 REV D and ISO 9001:2015 manufacturing and quality standards, regulations, legislative and customer requirements to ensure highest standards are maintained.
  • Program parts from step files or PDF drawings
  • Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to create accurate machining specifications.
  • Set up and operate CNC machines, ensuring proper tooling and fixtures are in place, when needed.
  • Conduct regular maintenance checks on machinery to ensure optimal performance, when needed.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot issues and improve processes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace within the warehouse environment.
  • Utilize E2 for everyday activities.
  • Obey all health & safety rules – wear appropriate PPE.
  • Any other duties as assigned.
