Description
  • Location: Tuas (Company transport at Lakeside MRT)
  • Working hours: Mon-Fri/ 8am – 5pm (Ad-hoc to perform shift work)

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Lead and manage CNC machining operations, ensuring optimal efficiency and precision.
  • Program, set up, and operate CNC turning and milling machines.
  • Integrate and oversee robotic automation and cobot systems in production.
  • Develop and optimize machining processes to improve quality and reduce cycle times.
  • Troubleshoot machine and automation issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams for process improvements.
  • Train and mentor CNC machinists and operators.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality control regulations.
  • To provide support in production activities ensuring that all manufacturing orders job are meeting to CNC machining process WI.
  • To provide guidance and training to junior or new machinist.
  • To involve and support in CNC continuous programming improvement and reduction of machining cycle time.
  • Lays out work, sets up, and operates computer numeric control (CNC) lathes to perform machining operations according to manufacturing orders and drawing required tolerances and specifications.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in CNC turning, milling, and robotic/cobot automation.
  • Strong knowledge of CNC programming
  • Experience in integrating cobots and robotic automation in manufacturing.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and GD&T standards.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Experience with Industry 4.0 and smart manufacturing technologies.
  • Knowledge of CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, NX, or SolidWorks).Previous experience working with automated production lines.
