Absolute Tool Technologies is seeking an experienced and motivated CNC Leader to guide and support our day-shift CNC operations. QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3–5+ years of CNC operating experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Prior leadership or team lead experience strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and setup sheets
  • Experience with FCS workholding systems (required)
  • Knowledge of machining programs (PowerMill experience preferred)
  • Familiarity with machine monitoring systems like InFocus (preferred; training provided)
  • Familiarity with Pulse (RER software) for downtime reporting (preferred; training provided)
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage schedules, delegate tasks, and keep the team aligned
  • Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement
Responsibilities
  • Lead and support day-shift CNC operators to achieve production goals
  • Conduct daily team lineups to review tasks, goals, and safety topics
  • Create and update production schedules to keep operations on track
  • Work closely with Leadership to align production priorities with company goals
  • Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts per specifications
  • Ensure proper use of FCS workholding systems for efficiency and accuracy
  • Oversee daily machining operations and monitor uptime through InFocus
  • Utilize Pulse (RER software) to report and track machine downtime accurately
  • Report and escalate NC (non-conformance) issues in a timely manner
  • Report programming-related issues to the programming team for resolution
  • Train, mentor, and support operators in setup, troubleshooting, and quality standards
  • Conduct quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and other tools
  • Perform routine maintenance and uphold a safe, clean, and organized shop environment
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and high performance
