Omni Aerospace is seeking an experienced Machine Maintenance Mechanic. This position will require overtime and on-call responsibilities. You will report directly to our Director of Operations. Responsibilities and Duties Testing, diagnosing, repairing and maintaining machine tools including CNC controls, PLC hardware and software, control circuits, electro/mechanical systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems Performing adjustments, alignments and calibrations on equipment Installing and upgrading new and current equipment Ensuring preventative maintenance schedules are performed on a regular basis Troubleshoot and repair factory equipment and CNC equipment Read and follow blueprints, drawings and schematics Assisting with other duties, assignments and projects as required Requirements Two years related experience Strong mechanical and electrical abilities, manufacturing experience and understanding of safety and environmental practices Strong analytical skills and demonstrated problem-solving abilities Ability to read/interpret blueprints and schematics Ability to work well with a team as well as independently Must be results oriented with a strong desire to succeed PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Two-year technical degree in Mechanical or Electrical Technology Basic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems Familiar with manufacturing processes and machining equipment Machine tool experience including major upgrades, revisions and installations both mechanically and with control systems
Responsibilities
The technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining CNC machine tools, including PLC hardware, software, and electro-mechanical systems. They will also perform equipment alignments, calibrations, and ensure preventative maintenance schedules are followed.
