Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machine Operator 1st Shift - 5:00am - 3:30pm - MON - THURS Responsibilities: - We need a dependable, self-motivated, experienced CNC machine operator to join our 1st shift team! - Ideal candidate will load parts, operate CNC machines, and touch-off tools (if needed). Will also be responsible for 1st piece, in-process inspection, and routine machine maintenance. - Willingness to learn continuous improvement processes a MUST!! - Will operation of equipment such as press brakes and computer numerical control (CNC) machines with minimum blueprint reading and job set-up ability. Requirements Must pass pre-employment drug screen 1 year of CNC Experience working with the set-up, programming, where applicable, and operation of press brakes, shears, lathes, vertical and horizontal milling machines, and drill presses (Required) Superior attendance Self-motivation and dependability Must be able to tolerate repetitive, tedious work Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment Ability to work independently or as part of a team Willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to changing technologies
