Extreme Balconies is a leading manufacturer of high-quality balcony systems, with a reputation for precision, innovation, and delivering excellence on every project. We are expanding our team and seeking an experienced CNC Machine Operator to run our automated drill line and automated saw in our busy factory.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Proven experience operating CNC machinery in the steel fabrication industry
  • Strong ability to read and work from technical/fabrication drawings
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot minor mechanical issues
  • Forklift and/or overhead crane operation experience (training provided if needed)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills for machine programming and reporting

Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our CNC automated drill line and saw, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operate CNC automated drill line and saw to produce steel components to specification
  • Read and interpret technical drawings to ensure accuracy of production
  • Monitor machine performance, perform routine maintenance, and address any minor faults
  • Manage material flow and ensure the correct loading/unloading of steel sections
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure timely delivery of components
  • Conduct quality checks on all parts produced, ensuring adherence to standards
  • Track and report on consumables usage and reorder as required
