Top Grade Molds (TGM) designs and produces high quality plastic injection molds for some of the world’s leading industrial and thin wall packaging manufacturers. Located in Mississauga, Ontario, we export to over 30 countries in the world and provide packaging solutions for many of the top industrial packaging and food packaging multi-national companies in the world.

TGM is currently seeking an energetic, highly motivated and experienced CNC Machine Operator: Cylindrical and Surface Grinding for our Mississauga facility! The employee will be performing various job duties including but not limited to following:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• CNC Universal Cylindrical, Manual Grinding and Surface Grinding.
• Grinding mold components to expected high tolerances and assuring that all machined parts have met specifications, fits, pre-loads etc.
• Verify dimensions of machined parts using micrometers, verniers, calipers, height gauges, optical comparators, co-ordinate measuring machines (CMM) or other precision measuring instruments.
• Working in a high precision environment and contributing to maintaining the specifications of design and quality.
• TGM expects that the employee will perform multi-functional duties during short to medium production runs.
• Work in a team environment.
• Work with established TGM standards and practices.
• Complete work that you are responsible for in a timely and productive manner.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Completion of High School or College diploma is required.
• Minimum 2-5 years of CNC Cylindrical and Surface Grinding machine experience.
• Mechanical ability and understanding of engineering principles.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Ability to work in a team as well as independently.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Availability to work different shifts and weekends when required.
