JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating CNC machinery, programming, and quality control. This role involves working with various CNC machines, including lathes and milling machines, to produce high-quality components according to specifications. The CNC Operator will play a crucial part in ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of quality.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience as a CNC Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in operating Fanuc systems and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
• Familiarity with SolidWorks and other CAD software for design purposes.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with an understanding of tooling, machining processes, and factory operations.
• Experience with quality control practices and basic math skills for measurements.
• Ability to work effectively in an assembly line setting while managing materials handling tasks.
• Forklift certification is preferred but not required; willingness to obtain certification is essential.
• Previous experience with flexo presses or similar machinery is a plus.

• Operate CNC machines including CNC lathe and CNC milling machine to produce precision parts.
• Set up and adjust machine tools as necessary for optimal performance.
• Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical specifications.
• Perform CNC programming and CAM programming to create machining instructions.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure product accuracy.
• Conduct quality control checks throughout the manufacturing process to maintain compliance with GD&T standards.
• Collaborate with team members on the assembly line for materials handling and fabrication tasks.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols in the manufacturing facility.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the machining process.
• Operate hand tools, press brake machines, stamping presses, and welding equipment as needed.
