Job Title – CNC Machine Operator
Reporting To – Engineering Manager
Hours of Work - 08.00 – 17.00 Monday to Thursday; 08.00 – 15.00 Friday
Salary/Wage - £ Neg – paid 4weekly
Sabeti Wain Aerospace Ltd is a world leader in the design & manufacture of bespoke aircraft interiors and upholstery systems.
As a busy expanding Company, we urgently require a CNC Operator to join our Production Team.

THIS POSITION REQUIRES THE FOLLOWING KEY SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES :

  • Good working knowledge of IT and CAD software/technical drawings
  • Working with a flatbed CNC machine.
  • Experience working with reading drawings and understanding Bill of Materials is preferred but training can be given
  • Knowledge of MS Office is essential
  • Self-motivated, working as part of a team and under own initiative
  • Time management and organisational skills, with the ability to ‘problem solve’
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to communicate (both written and verbal) clearly and effectively in English
    Note: With the role being onsite only, due to past experiences we request that applicants reside within a 20 miles radius of the business location with the post code being HP11 2PF.

Responsibilities
  • To set, operate and program CNC machine efficiently producing product to drawings and customer specification
  • As part of a Team providing Engineering Drawings, Bill of Materials and operating instructions, to agreed criteria, quality and timescale
  • Supporting day-to-day drawing activities within the Engineering & Design Department
  • Issue and control of drawings to Company procedures, maintenance of filing systems and general office ‘housekeeping’
  • Control parts identification and BOM compilation
  • To have a positive and flexible approach to working and good engineering practice.
  • To maintain and improve productivity within machine capability to ensure production deadlines are met
