Valley Cabinet Inc. is looking for a CNC Machine Operator! With pay raise opportunities at 6 months and 12 months of employment! Work Schedule: 1st Shift: Monday-Thursday: 6:00am - 3:00pm & Friday: 6:00am - 12pm (Hours may vary based on workload) Who we are: Valley Cabinet is a family-owned and operated company providing the finest quality custom wood cabinetry! What you will do: The CNC Machine Operator will set up, operate, and maintain computer numerical control (CNC) machinery to produce precision parts and components. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Daily operation of the CNC Machine * Review set up sheets and specifications to determine setup procedure, machining sequence, dimensions, and quality * Assemble cutting tools in tool holders and position in machine spindles as specified using hand tools or insert cutting tools * Select fixtures, part holding, and tooling to machine parts as necessary * Adjust machine speeds and feeds and change cutters to machine parts according to specifications * Confirm finished work meets specifications, using measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, tape measure, and gages * May be trained to operate other machines in the CNC Department * Perform other related duties as assigned What you need: * Ability to read tape measure and calipers. * Problem solving skills. * Demonstrated ability to setup a machine and run the job with minimal supervision. * Basic math skills with the ability to read US and metric measurements and the ability to convert between the two. * Previous work experience in machine manufacturing; knowledge of AutoCAD programs and CNC equipment preferred. * Ability to learn and retain on the job training. * Ability to carry out detailed written or oral instructions in English. * Ability to meet quality standards - strong attention to detail and quality. * Ability to consistently meet/exceed production quotas.
