JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience with CNC machinery, including lathes and milling machines. As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications. Your attention to detail and ability to read blueprints will ensure high-quality production that meets our standards.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex machinery operations.
  • Familiarity with Mazatrol programming is a plus.
  • Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation of technical drawings.
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining processes.
  • Experience with welding is advantageous but not required.
  • Ability to operate power tools safely in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

  • Set up and operate CNC machines, including lathes and milling machines, to produce components as per specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements.
  • Perform quality checks on finished products using basic math skills to ensure accuracy and adherence to tolerances.
  • Assemble parts as necessary, ensuring that all components fit together correctly.
  • Utilize power tools safely and effectively during the machining process.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the machining process, making adjustments as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve production efficiency and quality.
