Essential Job Duties: Set up all repeat jobs using fully documented procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy. Produce first-piece parts that meet print specifications and validate setup quality. Apply knowledge of CNC programming, including the ability to make program edits or create new programs as needed. Perform manual inspections of machined parts in accordance with inspection sheet criteria. Interpret blueprints at a medium to high level and align specifications with inspection protocols and documentation requirements. Utilize knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) to ensure precision and compliance with tolerances. Operate multiple machines simultaneously within a production cell to optimize workflow and productivity. Apply advanced shop math skills, including trigonometry and geometry, to support accurate machining and problem-solving. Mentor and train operators to promote skill development and consistency in machining practices.
