COMPANY OVERVIEW: Turbine Weld Industries MRO, provides service to airlines, overhaul facilities, hot section shops, parts distributors, owner/operators, etc. We are a leader in the aerospace and manufacturing industry, known for our commitment to quality and precision. Based in Venice, Florida, we specialize in the repair and overhaul of Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6, PW100, and JT15D hot section components.

SUMMARY: The CNC Machinist II will operate and maintain various machine tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This role will perform alteration tasks on civil aviation articles in accordance with the current technical data provided in the manufacturers’ Instructions for Continued Airworthiness, Services Bulletins, service letters, Airworthiness Directives, government and industry standard practices, and other data acceptable to or approved by the FAA.

  • A Shift is 5-8 Hour days Monday through Friday.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics
  • Set up and adjust machine tools and equipment for proper operation
  • Monitor the production process and make necessary adjustments to ensure precision and quality
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machines and equipment
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and achieve company goals
  • Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associate degree
  • 3+ year of relevant/technical work experience OR
  • An additional 2 years of specific work experience in lieu of degree.
  • Maintain an orderly and productive work environment.
  • Ability to function in fast paced environment while maintaining a high level of quality.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and precision
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Good understanding of safety protocols and procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of manual/technical machinist experience
  • 5+ years of welding experience
  • Formal machine training.
