REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to work well with both others and independently.
  • Advanced ability to identify issues
  • Time management and communication skills
  • Accountable and ability to take ownership and responsibility for their work
  • Must possess good problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to adapt in an ever-changing technology driven environment
  • Able to work swing shift
  • Experience in plastic injection molds.
  • Use of CAD/CAM systems and computer systems are an asset.
  • Licensed General Machinist (429A) is an asset.
    This opportunity is in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.
Responsibilities
  • The accurate interpreting of design information relative to build activity.
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints and other product-related diagrams, engineering drawings, charts and tables.
  • Operate overhead crane to remove and/or relocate molds to specific workstations/areas.
  • Program computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools.
  • Set up and adjust machinery.
  • Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance.
  • Verify dimensions of machined tools and parts using precision measuring instruments.
  • Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances.
  • Additional duties as required and directed by leaders/supervisors/management.
  • Other duties as required and directed by leaders/supervisor/management.
  • Must comply with all Health & Safety policies throughout facility
