Description Pressco Products is a small manufacturing company that produces quality machining, stamping, fabrication, and minor assembly of aerospace components with pride and excellence. We are seeking an outstanding candidate who is prepared to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where you will actively focus on the production of aerospace parts using CNC Mills and/or CNC Lathes. We are seeking 1 night shift and 2 day shift machinists/operators to fill our openings as we grow our team. Job Duties and Essential Functions: Demonstrated proficiency in setting up and running 3-axis, 4-axis, 5-axis CNC Mills and/or CNC Lathe and/or Manual Mill. We are willing to train the right candidate who has a basic knowledge of CNC machining. Ensure all machines are running and producing quality parts while following the production schedule Experience and knowledge applicable to fixturing and tooling applications Consistently check parts while in production to ensure it’s following the program and blueprints Stage production for upcoming jobs - Keep track of tooling, jaws, cutters, etc. Fill out paperwork and labor tickets correctly for each job Maintain great communication with shop programming and tooling departments Cleaning out machines when cutting and/or materials have changed Keep a clean and safe work environment Requirements Essential Qualifications: 3+ years of experience is preferred Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and critical thinking Good work ethic and positive attitude Excellent attendance and time management Self-starter and excellent time management Standing and sitting for extended periods of time in a warehouse environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with active listening (must be fluent in English) US Citizen High School Diploma or GED Compensation is dependent on experience and evaluated regularly based on merit and performance. Base wage is $20.00 to $35.00+ per hour - negotiable and depending on experience. Positions are open until filled.
