Description

Set up, operate, and maintain CNC diamond turning machines to support production goals. Interpret engineering drawings and follow standardized work instructions and lean manufacturing processes. Use metrology tools to inspect and verify that optical components meet exacting specifications. Perform manual cleaning of optical surfaces using appropriate solvents and materials. Collect and analyze production data using basic math and statistical tools. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols. U.S. Person status (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident) High school diploma or equivalent Ability to read and follow written instructions in English Basic computer skills for data entry and equipment operation 3+ years of experience in machining or CNC production environments Proficiency in CNC equipment setup and operation Experience with precision measurements on optical or mechanical components
